How to Get to Bantayan Island from Cebu City

Bantayan island is considered as one of the premiere tourist destinations in the Province of Cebu but getting to Bantayan Island is somewhat tiresome if you are not used into long travel hours but it's worth the wait.

In order to help tourists from different parts of the world to get to Bantayan Island as fast as possible, we have provided below a simple yet useful information on how to get to Bantayan Island from Cebu City.

Take a Taxi to to the Cebu North Bus Station, if you're from the Mactan International Airport it will take around 20-30 minutes and costs you at least P160.00

Take a Ceres Bus to Hagnaya Port or directly to Bantayan Island. If you chose to take a route via Hagnaya Port it will costs around P165.00 and estimated travel time will be at 3.5 hours. If you chose to have a direct route from Cebu North Bus Terminal to Bantayan Island it will cost around P200.00 for the Bus Fare plus an additional P170.00 for the RORO fare and you will add another P10.00 for the terminal fee. If you're a tourist, the Municipality of Sta. Fe, will also charge another P30.00 as tourist fee. 

Take a ferry to Sta. Fe Port, if you chose to travel with Ceres only until Hagnaya Wharf. The ferry fare will cost you around P170.00 plus an additional P10 for the terminal fee and another P30.00 for the tourist fee.
